Acoustic Words

I was raised in the western Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn. I graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1970 and from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in music composition in 1975. I currently live in central Illinois with my wife and two cats, Scamper and Toby. (One cat, two rabbits, and three hamsters are buried in the back yard, but we won't go into that now). I also have an adult son and an adult daughter living nearby.

To live, I work as an inspector in a factory, but I would rather be writing.

I have been a Christian since 1971, and attend Eastview Christian Church.

I have been actively writing since grade school, and currently admit to five novels (three of them part of a fantasy trilogy), eleven short stories, ten poems, a handful of essays, and two plays. To accompany one of the novels I have also created over thirty pencil illustrations and a complete four-movement symphony.
